TastyDelisH Special Rice (Similar to Fried Rice)

 


This unique dish made by my mom is made with various sauces and vegetables WITHOUT the need to fry the rice , which makes it easier to digest and gives it a unique taste , sounds interesting doesn't it ? Let's have a look at the recipe. 

Ingredients (5 Servings) :
  • Rice - 3-4 Cups
  • Chicken Breast Piece (Or any other piece of your choice) - 1 , cut into 4 pieces
  • Carrots - 2-3
  • Capsicum - 2-3
  • Babycorn - 8-10
  • Cabbage - 1 (small)
  • Spring Onions - 3-4
  • Eggs - 4
  • Ginger Paste - 2 Tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 Tbsp
  • Tomato Ketchup - 4-5 Tbsp
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 3-4 Tbsp
  • BBQ Sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • Soya Sauce - 2-3 Tbsp
  • Oil - 5-6 Tbsp
  • Salt to Taste 
Method :
  • Boil Chicken in 4-5 cups of water .
  • Remove the chicken from the soup , shred it and leave the soup aside to use it for making rice.
  • Now cook the rice in this soup , adding a little more of water if necessary till done.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and the finely chopped vegetables and fry them till the vegetables are soft enough.
  • Add all the sauces , salt and black pepper powder to it and fry it a little more.
  • After the rice cools down a bit , add the vegetables to the rice and mix them thoroughly.
  • Make an omlette of the eggs with a little salt and black pepper powder to it and break it into small pieces and mix it with the rice and you're good to go !
