Masala Milk

 

Masala Milk is an Indian drink which is perfect for hot and sunny days . It also helps gain strength in the body so it is good for bodybuilders too. It makes a lovely dessert too. Let us have a look at it's recipe !

Ingredients (3 Servings) :
  • Almonds - 10-15
  • Pistachios (Pista) - 10-15
  • Cashew Nuts - 8
  • Saffron (Kesar) - 1 Pinch
  • Green Cardamom Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Nutmeg Powder - 1/4th Tsp
  • Milk - 4 Glasses 
  • Jaggery - 2 Tbsp
  • Sugar - 3-4 Tbsp
Method :
  • Grind the almonds , pistachios and cashew nuts to a fine powder and keep aside.
  • Boil the milk and reduce it to 3/4th of it's quantity on low flame , stirring it continuously.
  • Add the jaggery , sugar , the dry fruit powder , saffron , cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and boil it for 5-10 minutes more.
  • Let it cool down , pour it into the glasses and refrigerate it till it's chill.
