Bheja
Bheja is a delicacy relished by almost every non-vegetarian. It surely is a favourite among all Parsis. It is mainly had during winters as it brings heat to the body. Let us have a look at its recipe.

Ingredients (3 Servings) :
  • Goat Brains - 6
  • Onions - 6-8
  • Ginger Paste - 1 Tsp
  • Garlic - 6-7 Cloves
  • Green Chillies - 3-4
  • Sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste 
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 Cup
Method :
  • Heat oil in a utensil and add green chillies , finely chopped garlic and finely chopped onions to it and try them till they turn brownish.
  • Add garlic paste , salt and sugar to it and let fry them for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now , add Turmeric Powder and Kashmiri Chilli Powder to it and fry them for around 2 minutes.
  • Break the brains into small pieces and add it to the mixture .
  • Mix them well , cover the lid and cook it for around 15 minutes , till they are done. To make it tastier , cook it till all the water evaporates. 
  • Add finely chopped coriander , 2 minutes before turning off the stove.
