Chapati/Paratha using liquid dough


This type of Chapati is quick and easy to make , without the need to kneed or roll the dough. It can be had as a breakfast item or can be had along with lunch/dinner. Ingredients of your choice can be added too, for example garlic , coriander leaves or even mashed potatoes. Have a look at its recipe.

Ingredients (for 6 Chapatis) :
  • Wheat flour - 3 Mugs
  • Water 
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee 
  • If you are making a Paratha , then you can add chopped coriander leaves , garlic , green chillies, mashed potatoes etc,
Method :
  • Add wheat flour in a utensil and add salt to it. (If you're making Paratha , add the Paratha ingredients too)
  • Gradually add water enough to make it a thick but easily pourable consistency.
  • Let it set for 15-20 minutes.
  • Take a non-stick tava and add the dough as per the required size and thickness to it.
  • Flip the chapati once it stops sticking to the tava and add 1/4th tsp ghee and spread it over the chapati.
  • Cook it till both the sides show light brown patches. 
  • Cook the other side
