Sali par Eedu
Sali par Eedu is common breakfast / snack item relished by Parsis which is quick to made and extremely delicious. It can be made with minimum ingredients and is very satisfying. It can be made in 5-10 minutes. Have a look at its recipe.

Ingredients (3 Servings) :
  • Eggs - 3
  • Fine Potato Straws (Bareek Sali) - 1 Fistful 
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 3 Tbsp
  • Pepper - 1/2 Tsp (Optional)
Method :
  • Heat oil on medium flame in a non-stick pan for half a minute and make a layer of potato straws distributed evenly all over the pan. (it would be better to make slight gaps where you will be dropping eggs)
  • After frying the potato straws for half a minute, break the eggs into the gaps made earlier and sprinkle salt (and pepper - optional) over it.
  • Now, cover the pan with a lid. 
  • Once they are halfway done, sprinkle a fistful of water over it and cover the lid again and cook till the eggs are fully done. (We add water to it so that it gets cooked quicker)
