Cauliflower Frankie
Ingredients (6 pieces) :
- Cauliflower - 750-1000 g
- Potatoes - 2
- Butter - 4-5 tbsp
- Oregano - 1 tbsp
- Chilli Flakes - 1 tbsp
- Frankie Masala - 1 tsp
- Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Onions - 1 (big)
- Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp
- White Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Wheat Flour - 3-4 cups
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Eggs - 3
Method :
- First make the chapati. For that, add salt and warm water to the wheat flour and make a soft dough out of it. Add ghee to it, mix well and keep aside for 15-20 mins.
- Make 6 portions out of the dough and roll them. (Make sure to keep it a little thicker than chapati)
- Beat the eggs with a bit of salt.
- Now, place one chapati on the heated tava and let the first side roast till halfway done.
- Flip it over and while the lower is being roasted, spread some of the beaten eggs onto the upper side. (To be done on low flame)
- Once the egg is almost done, flip it again so that the egg is thoroughly cooked.
- Repeat the same for all chapatis and leave aside.
- Melt the butter in a non-stick pan and add tiny florets of cauliflower and finely chopped potatoes to it.
- Once they are halfway done, add ginger paste, oregano, black pepper powder, salt, frankie masala and chilli flakes to it.
- Cover it and let it cook till completely done.
- Now, make a mixture of finely sliced raw onions, Kashmiri Chilli Powder, Chaat Masala and White Vinegar.
- Fill the chapatis with the cauliflower mixture as well as with the onion mixture and roll them to make it a Frankie and its done!
