Tea time Eggless Chocolate Cake

Tea time eggless chocolate cake
This cake can be made very quickly - within just 2 minutes in the microwave oven! It is also very easy to make and tastes just delicious! It can be had either as a tea time snack or as a dessert along with vanilla icecream! It can either be made in a microwave safe coffee mug or a soup bowl. Let us have a look at its recipe.

Ingredients (2 mugs) :

  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
  • All purpose flour (Maida) - 4 tbsp
  • Castor sugar - 4 tbsp
  • Milk - enough to make a thick but pourable paste
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Walnuts / raisins (optional)
  • Chocolate scrapings/sprinkles (optional)

Method:

  • Add melted butter to a bowl and add cocoa powder, baking powder and Castor sugar and mix thoroughly.
  • Now, add all purpose flour to it and gradually add milk little by little to it, mixing it thoroughly to form a smooth, thick and pourable paste. (You can also add walnuts/raisins to it if you wish to)
  • Coat a microwave safe mug with butter and pour the mixture to it, filling it halfway.
  • Microwave it for just 2 minutes.
  • In order to check if it's thoroughly done, poke a toothpick in the centre and if it comes out clean, it's well done. If not, microwave it for another minute.
  • You can garnish it with chocolate scrapings or sprinkles.
Tip - It tastes really good with Vanilla icecream or tea.
