- Chicken - 500-750 g
- Potatoes - 5-6
- Ginger paste - 1 and a half tbsp
- Tomato ketchup - 4-5 tbsp
- Onions - 2
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
- Garam Masala powder - 1/4th tsp
- Curd - 2-3 tbsp
- Sugar/Honey - 1 and a half-2 tbsp
- Salt to taste

Method:
- Marinate the chicken with salt, ginger paste, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder, Kashmiri Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Garam Masala powder and curd. Cover it and leave it aside for a minimum of 30 minutes. It would be better to marinate it overnight.
- Heat oil in a utensil, add finely chopped onions and let it cook till they turn golden in colour.
- Now, add sugar or honey to it and mix it well till it melts.
- Add the marinated chicken to it and let it cook, covering with a lid on low flame, till it is well cooked. Keep mixing it from time to time. (DO NOT add water to it.)
- Now, chop the potatoes into wedges (4-6 wedges from each potato) and deep fry them in another utensil, adding a little salt to it. Wait for it to turn soft and golden-brown.
- Mix the fried potato wedges and the chicken mixture just 5 minutes before serving.
