Fish Filet with Tartar Sauce

 

This dish is an amazing combination of Fish filet and Tartar Sauce which can be had along with stir fried onions and capsicum, and mashed potatoes. It is an ideal lunch/dinner item for anyone , especially fish lovers. Let us have a look at it's recipe .

Ingredients for Fish Filet (4-5 Servings) :
  • Boneless Fish (Preferably Tilapia) - 500 g
  • Coarse Semolina (Jada Rava) / Bread Crumbs - 1/2 Cup 
  • Salt to Taste
  • Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
Ingredients for Tartar Sauce :
  • Mayonnaise - 1/2 Cup
  • Carrot - 2 Medium sized
  • Lettuce - 3-4 Leaves
  • Spring Onions - 3
Method for Fish Filet :
  • Marinate the fish with garlic paste and salt and leave it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  • Coat it it coarse semolina / bread crumbs , add oil to a pan and grill it for 5 minutes on each side on low flame.
Method for Tartar Sauce :
  • Finely chop all the vegetables as specified in the ingredients and add it to the Mayonnaise.

Ingredients for Stir Fried Onions and Capsicum :
  • Onions - 2-3
  • Capsicum - 2-3
  • Barbeque Sauce - 1 Tsp
  • Salt to Taste 
  • Oil to stir fry - 2 Tbsp
Ingredients for mashed Potatoes
  • Potatoes - 3-4
  • Butter - 1-2 Tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt to Taste
Method for Stir Fried Onions and Capsicum :
  • Chop the onions and capsicum into 1 inch pieces and fry them lightly in a pan till the onions turn translucent.
  • Add barbeque sauce and salt to it and let it cook for about 5 minutes.
Method for Mashed Potato :
  • Boil the potatoes till they soften.
  • Mash them and add butter , black pepper and salt to it and mix well.
