Chicken Liver

 

Chicken liver is a delicious dish relished by non-vegetarians. If you are a non-vegetarian who is often inclined to having chicken, mutton, fish etc., you can try this out for a change. Have a look at its recipe.


Ingredients (3-4 Servings) :
  • Chicken Liver - 500 g
  • Potatoes - 2-3
  • Onions - 3
  • Green Chillies - 2
  • Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1 Tsp
  • Whole garam masalas - Cinamon (Tej) - 2 inch piece, Black pepper - 5-6, Cloves (Laung) - 4-5
  • Ginger Paste - 1 Tsp
  • Garlic - 7-8 Cloves
  • Coriander Leaves - 1/2 Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar- 1 Tsp
  • Powdered Spices - Kashmiri Chilli Powder -1 Tsp, Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp, Dhanajeera Powder - 1 Tsp, Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Oil - 4-5 Tbsp
Method :
  • Heat oil in a utensil, add whole garam masalas to it and fry them for a minute on low flame.
  • Add finely chopped garlic and fry them till they are golden.
  • Add cumin seeds and finely chopped green chillies to it and after a minute, add finely chopped onions to it.
  • Now, add salt and sugar to it and fry them till the onions and brownish and soft.
  • Add ginger paste to it, fry it for another minute and add the powdered spices to it.
  • Chop the potatoes in small cubes and add them to the mixture.
  • After 2-3 minutes, add chicken liver to it and let it fry for around 5 minutes.
  • Add half cup water to it and bring it to a boil, cover the utensil and let it cook on low flame till done.
  • Just before turning off the stove, add finely chopped coriander leaves to it.
