Crispy Boomla Fry | Crispy Bombil Fry

Introducing Boomla Fry, a tasty dish that is both delicious and super easy to make. With its amazing flavors and simple cooking process, anyone can enjoy this mouthwatering seafood treat without any hassle. Let us have a look at its recipe.

Ingredients (3-4 Servings):
  • Bombay Ducks (Boomla) - 10-12 pieces
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Coarse Semolima (Jada Rava)- 1/4th cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Method:
  • Gently squeeze the water out of the bombay ducks. (This is an important step)
  • Coat it with Turmeric powder, Kashmiri Chilli Powder and salt. Leave it aside for 15-20 minutes. 
  • Now, coat each bombay duck with coarse semolima and deep fry them till they turn golden-brown on both sides.
